MA E-ZPass Transponders now available in participating Massachusetts AAA Offices

AAA announces a program with the Massachusetts DOT, to distribute Massachusetts E-ZPass transponders. AAA branch offices in Auburn, Boston, Burlington, Framingham, Haverhill, Lawrence, Leominster, Lowell, Newburyport, Newton, North Andover, Peabody, Plymouth, Rockland, Saugus, Waltham and Westwood are currently offering this service to members.

AAA Members can complete an application in the branch and receive a transponder for their vehicle. Members establish an E-ZPass account with Mass DOT using a credit card with an initial balance of $20.00. The transponder will be active in three business days after the application is submitted. Transponders can be used throughout Massachusetts and out of state where E-ZPass is accepted.

*This program is only available for new accounts. Members that are already registered need to contact MassDot for any necessary changes.
