• Backup Card
  We issue a Backup Card with a different number and PIN from your Primary Card at the time of purchase – minimizing the inconvenience if your Primary Card is lost or stolen.
• Emergency Card Replacement
  We will send a replacement Card, free of charge, to your chosen destination. Simply contact Customer Service immediately for help if your Backup Card is lost or stolen.
• Emergency Funds Access
  While you are waiting for your replacement Card to be delivered, you can access the funds on your Card to up to $1,000 per day by emergency money transfer via Western Union.
• 24/7 Emergency Travel, Medical, Legal, and Other Help
  The American Express^® GlobalTravel Card gives you access to emergency services from Global Assist^® when traveling more than 100 miles from home**, including:

*American Express does not charge for the first ATM withdrawal in each calendar month. Thereafter, there is a $2.00 fee for each additional ATM withdrawal. A separate ATM fee by the ATM operator may also apply.

***Eligible items purchased with the Card can be protected from theft or accidental damage for up to 90 days from the date of purchase, at no additional charge.
