Official Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. ELIGIBILITY: Open only to legal U.S. residents of Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut who, as of the date of entry, are 21 years of age or older. Employees of RI Monthly Communications, Inc. and AAA Southern New England (collectively referred to as "Sponsor" or "Sponsors"), their respective affiliates, divisions, subsidiaries, and all coordinating agencies or entities for the "2011 RHODE ISLAND MONTHLY'S BRIDE/AAA SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND HONEYMOON GIVEAWAY SWEEPSTAKES" (the "Sweepstakes") and the immediate families of each, or persons living in the same household of such employees are not eligible. Sweepstakes are governed by U.S. laws and are subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Void outside the U.S., void in all states other than Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut, and void where prohibited, taxed or restricted. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions, administration and interpretations of the judges, administrators and Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. In addition, all entrants agree to release Sponsor and its affiliates, divisions, subsidiaries, prize providers, participating companies, and all coordinating agencies and their respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders and agents from any and all liability, claims or damages arising out of their participation in this Sweepstakes and the acceptance and use of any prize.
2. HOW TO ENTER: Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 am EST on January 1, 2011, and ends at 11:59 pm EST on October 15, 2011 (the "Promotion Period"). TO ENTER ONLINE: During the Promotion Period, participants may enter the Sweepstakes online by visiting www.RIMonthlyBride.com which will bring participants directly to an online entry form or by visiting www.AAA.com for Sweepstakes link to entry form at www.RIMonthlyBride.com ("Entry Form," "Entry, or "Entries"). In order to enter the Sweepstakes, participants must provide certain registration information and complete the online Entry Form. TO ENTER AT THE 2011 SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND BRIDAL EXPO OR THE 7TH ANNUAL FOXBOROUGH BRIDAL EXPO SHOW: During the Promotion Period, participants may enter the Sweepstakes by completing an 2011 RHODE ISLAND MONTHLY'S BRIDE/AAA SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND HONEYMOON GIVEAWAY SWEEPSTAKES Entry Form and depositing it at a kiosk specifically designated for the return of Entry Forms at the 2011 SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND BRIDAL EXPO OR THE 7TH ANNUAL FOXBOROUGH BRIDAL EXPO SHOW. TO ENTER BY MAIL: Alternatively, eligible participants may enter Sweepstakes by filling out an Entry Form located in the January, 2011 issue of RI Monthly's Bride magazine. All Entries, regardless of means of entry, must be postmarked or electronically submitted by 11:59 pm EST on October 15, 2011. No photocopied, facsimile, or mechanically reproduced Entry Forms are permitted. Use of any automated Entry software is prohibited. Sponsors are not responsible for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed software transmissions which may limit an entrant's ability to participate in the Sweepstakes, incomplete entries, or damage to the user's system as a result of participation in the Sweepstakes or downloading any information necessary to participate in the Sweepstakes. Sponsors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, or garbled Entries; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware, or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties; (iii) errors in transmission; (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Sponsors that may cause Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted. If technical difficulties of any kind compromise the integrity or ability to continue on-line entry, Sponsors reserve the right to modify or terminate on-line entry. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of any potential winner, the potential winner will be deemed to be the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of Sweepstakes Entry. The authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes should any computer virus, malfunction or other cause beyond their control corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the Sweepstakes. All Entries become the property of the Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned. False or deceptive Entries or acts, as determined by Sponsors, will render the entrant ineligible. Limit of one (1) Entry per person, e-mail address or household address regardless of means of entry.
3. GRAND PRIZE AND RUNNER-UP WEDDING PARTY PRIZES & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: One (1) Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner ("Grand Prize Winner") will receive a trip for two (2) adults, both of whom, as of the date of entry must: (i) be 21 years of age or older, (ii) travel on the same itinerary at the same time, and (iii) depart and return from the same city. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of the Grand Prize is $2,650.00. The Grand Prize ("Grand Prize") consists exclusively of: three (3) nights lodging at the Hotel Caloura Resort in Sao Miguel Island, Azores and three (3) nights lodging at the Hotel Mundial in Lisbon, Portugal, roundtrip coach class airfare for two (2) adults on an airline selected by the Sponsors departing and arriving at Logan International Airport located in Boston, Massachusetts, and transportation between Azores and Portugal, as determined solely by the Sponsors. The Grand Prize does not include transportation between the Grand Prize Winner's (and their companion's) city of residence and airport, between accommodations and airport, meals, tips, incidentals, entertainment, telephone calls or any other personal expenses incurred at any time during the trip. Grand Prize Winner's (and their travel companion's) travel must be completed by April 17, 2012. Grand Prize Winner's (and their travel companion's) travel arrangements must be made a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to Grand Prize Winner's travel departure date, to allow for travel accommodations, which are subject to availability. Grand Prize Winner must redeem the Grand Prize through AAA Southern New England and must make travel arrangements through AAA Southern New England. Certain black-out dates and travel restrictions may apply as dictated by the hotel, airline or Sponsors. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute any prize for a prize of equal or greater value in the event that any prize described, or any portion thereof, is unavailable for any reason whatsoever. The Grand Prize Winner and the Grand Prize Winner's travel companion are solely responsible for all expenses, costs or fees associated with acceptance and/or use of the prize not specified herein as being awarded including, without limitation, any and all taxes, meals, gratuities, and souvenirs. No alteration, substitution, or transfer of any prize or cash redemption is permitted by any winner. Any difference in the stated ARV of any prize and the actual value of any prize will not be awarded under any circumstances. Any attempts by any winner to barter or sell any prize or to make any changes, cancellations or deviations from any prize will result in the immediate disqualification of that winner and forfeiture of the applicable prize.
4. RANDOM DRAWING & CERTAIN RESTRICTIONS: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected via a random drawing from among all valid Entries received during the Promotion Period. The random drawing will be conducted on or about October 17, 2011 by a representative of one of the Sponsors. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received in accordance with these Official Rules. The Grand Prize Winner will be notified by mail, e-mail or telephone within five (5) days of the random drawing. Within five (5) days of such notification, Grand Prize Winner is solely responsible for providing AAA Southern New England with the name, address and other necessary information for the Grand Prize Winner and their travel companion for tax reporting or any other necessary purpose. The Grand Prize Winner and the Grand Prize Winner's travel companion will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Consent to Use/Prize Acceptance Form/Publicity and Advertising Consent and Release (except where prohibited by law) and such other documents reasonably required by Sponsors in connection with the Sponsors' use of any winner's name, likeness, and biographical information without compensation. All such documents must be signed and returned within seven (7) days of prize notification. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification. Return of the prize or prize notification as undeliverable, failure of Sponsors to contact Grand Prize Winner based on contact information provided at registration, or failure of any potential winner to respond to notification attempts will result in disqualification and an alternate may be selected at the Sponsors' discretion. In the event the Grand Prize Winner declines the prize, fails to return completed releases or other required documents or is unable or unwilling to pay all costs, fees or taxes associated with the Grand Prize, Sponsors may elect, at their own discretion, to select an alternate Grand Prize Winner. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. The Grand Prize Winner is responsible for all travel documentation for the Grand Prize Winner (and for the Grand Prize Winner's travel companion) and must complete the Grand Prize trip by April 17, 2012 or otherwise forfeit any claim to such prize package, and Sponsors will not have any further obligation to Grand Prize Winner. In the event of sabotage, acts of God, computer virus or other events or causes beyond the Sponsors' reasonable control which corrupt the integrity, administration, security or proper operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsors reserve the right to cancel or suspend the Sweepstakes. In the event of cancellation, prize will be awarded from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the event requiring such cancellation. Actual value of prize may vary based on timing.
5. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS: Entries become the property of the Sponsors and the names of entrants may be retained on Sponsors' mailing list for future contacts. No correspondence or other inquiries regarding Entries will be accepted. Void where prohibited.
6. WINNER LIST: To receive the name of the Grand Prize Winner or Runner-Up Wedding Party Winners, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to 2011 RHODE ISLAND MONTHLY'S BRIDE/AAA SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND HONEYMOON GIVEAWAY SWEEPSTAKES" 110 Royal Little Drive, Providence, RI 02904, to be received by December 1, 2011.
